Kaia, The Weaver of 6 Valleys

In the dying village of Stone's Throw, the Great Silence has stolen everything — the wind, the harvests, the breath from children's lungs.

Kaia's younger sister Elif is running out of time. The only cure lies beyond the Obsidian Wall — ten thousand feet of sheer volcanic glass that no one has ever climbed and returned from.

The elders say to accept it. Kaia says no.
